2014 marked the 1oth anniversary for Makson Incorporated. During the annual holiday party, several employees were honored for their decade of service to Makson. 2004 to 2014 honorees were Jeff “Hoppy” Hopkins and Mike Moran, plumbing superintendents. Also honored for 10 years in 2015 were Denise Southers, Administrative Manager; Bucky Yates, VP of Construction; Matthew Moretz, plumbing superintendent; and Wesley Moran, plumbing superintendent. David Eller, Makson’s president was recognized for his dedication to the company. Employees presented David with a mural of past offices, logos, and sponsorships.
To celebrate the employees of Makson, each employee and their spouse were given “raffle” tickets to win prizes throughout the night. Everyone was also given the opportunity to buy extra tickets for the raffle prizes and in doing so, could right down a charity of their choice to donate the money to. At the end of the night, David drew at random a charity from the box. Greensboro Hospice and Palliative Care – Kids Path was chosen. Kids Path is a great organization that “addresses the needs of seriously ill children from birth to age 18.” Makson is happy to donate $1000.00 to their great cause!
